I grew up with many hobbies, most came and went. One hobby that has persevered is shooting pictures of nature and of the desserts I make. I love being outside capturing the natural beauty of the world around me. I also love taking mouthwatering shots of food. For me, the click of the shutter forever captures a special moment in time. That is my goal with every click of the shutter.

Growing up in the Midwest outside of Chicago I developed a love for nature and great food. The more I shoot the more I learn about photography and myself. I believe my knowledge is always growing. I like dancing through life with clicks of my shutter.

I am a professional photographer specializing in landscape and food photography. I am not your typical click and shoot photographer. I love to capture images that stir people's emotions. I like to use movement in a scene and capture unusual and perhaps unexpected lighting. I strive to capture that little extra that tugs at people's emotions.

I have a degree from Colombia Columbia in Chicago where I studied with some of the finest in the profession. I learned excellent technique for shooting the finest quality shots. I took literally thousands of pictures which were critiqued by my professors and colleagues. What I enjoyed most was the creativity and diversity of perspectives of those I studied, and those I studied with.

I like to develop an intimate understanding of what my clients want and like. I do this in conversations prior to my shoots and then through interactive reviews and dialogue with them throughout the process.
